1) Two auditions, one victory
We didn't apply; it was the show " Who Wants to Be My Partner?" that approached us… twice ! In 2022, the production team spotted us and approved our profile, but the network ultimately said no. Then, in 2024, a new member of the casting team contacted us again. It's a match! This time, everything fell into place, and we went for it. Moral of the story: when opportunity knocks twice, you know you're on the right track.

2) Commando-style preparation 👊
To prepare for QVEMA, behind the scenes, we don't do things by halves: rock-solid figures, Excel spreadsheets worthy of a thesis, a business coach, and pitch coaching (1 minute 30 seconds and not a second more)... All this to… hardly use it on screen (except for the pitch, of course). But this exercise gave us a clear vision, solid arguments, and unwavering confidence . And that's priceless.

3) Alice Lhabouz wants to be our partner! 🤝
When we saw that Alice Lhabouz, the show's new investor , was on the jury, Marie, my super-smart friend, blurted out after a quick Google search: “She's the one who's going to finance you, that's for sure! Her profile is a perfect fit.” Spoiler alert: she was 100% right. After Alice's proposal, we went backstage to discuss her offer with Cécilia via video call, but the exchange was lightning-fast: two seconds flat. Why? Because the connection with Alice was instant . So we said yes, thrilled, without hesitation, as if it were the most natural thing in the world . 💥

4) Filming under high pressure (and hormones) 🥵
Cecilia, heavily pregnant and eight days from her due date, was supposed to skip filming. At the last minute, they improvised a video call . Was it a makeshift solution? Yes. Genius? Absolutely. Meanwhile, on the day of filming, Bethsabée was dealing with hot flashes and first-day period cramps. Because being a woman on set means accepting that your hormones might have other plans and make you suffer at the worst possible moment!

5) The confidence boost before going on set 💪
Ombline, the brilliant producer of the show, grabs me and looks me straight in the eye: “Bethsabée, I’ve been using your products for 2 years, they’re amazing, now’s YOUR moment . You’re not leaving here empty-handed!!!”
I took it as a feminist challenge , my mission: to proudly talk about "vulvas" and "anuses" on TV, during prime time. We were obviously NOT going to do a live demo, but it was a real joy to talk about hygiene and intimate parts openly and honestly. A mix of adrenaline, fun, and memorable moments—just our style!
In summary?
We played with clichés , we surfed on the unexpected , and we proved that women can pitch while pregnant , during their periods , and laughing at taboos.
Who wants to be my partner ? The answer is simple: Alice Lhabouz , and all those who want a world where we talk about vulvas on TV without blushing.
One last thing to add: an extra E in "Qui veut être mon associéE" 😉
